Bazelet’s breakthrough technology is designed to improve the therapeutic quality of cannabis by adding a small amount of selected and indication-specific terpene blends.
Bazelet has patented medical cannabis formulations specifically tailored to enhance therapeutic effect in particular medical conditions. Those contain selected phyto-cannabinoids and terpenes at selected ratios. Improved therapeutic effects are attained in many area, including treating chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), insomnia, anxiety, neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimer diseases, epilepsy and autism. Specific attention is directed to products designed to fit the needs of geriatric population on the one hand, and pediatric population on the other. Additional work focuses on products to improve women health and women wellness.
Bazelet has also patented technologies for the production of its proprietary formulations. Pre-prepared specific terpene blends are added to cannabis flowers or ground flowers of selected compositions, or mixed with selected extracts.
A particularly attractive option is producing the specific terpenes blends in a central production site of highest standards and shipping them to cannabis processing plans for incorporation in the final formulation. Those terpenes blends can be produced from terpenes extracted from plants other than cannabis, e.g. citrus plants, lavender, pines, pepper and hopes. As such, there is no limitation on shipment from such central processing plants.
Bazelet has four patent applications in the field of terpenes enhanced medical cannabis formulations, the first one of which is already published (WO2017158539). The International Search Report (ISR) for this PCT promisingly found all its claims possessed Utility, Novelty, and an Inventive Step.
